What you'll build
An HR and payroll setup covering a 20-person team with attendance, leave, salary, and payslips. You end up with employee profiles, monthly attendance tracked via check-in or biometric import, leave balances, and payroll runs that generate PDF payslips and a bank transfer file. Statutory deductions like PF and TDS are calculated automatically each cycle.

You add employees with their CTC, and the module derives their monthly components. Attendance is captured through the employee self-service portal, biometric CSV import, or manual entry, and the payroll run consolidates all of it into payslips ready to email out on payday.
Step by step
- Open the HR module and pick your country's payroll template
- Configure salary structure, PF, ESI, and TDS defaults
- Add all 20 employees with join date and CTC
- Set your leave policy and opening balances for the year
- Import last month's attendance via CSV or biometric export
- Run the payroll for the current month in preview mode
- Approve the run and email payslips to every employee
