What you'll build
Your Growthzi site loading on your own domain instead of a Growthzi subdomain. You end up with a working setup where visitors typing yourbusiness.com land on your published site, with SSL enabled, and the old subdomain redirecting to the new one. Email links, SEO metadata, and social share cards all point at the new domain from the moment DNS finishes propagating.
How Growthzi does it
Inside the Growthzi website dashboard, the Domains screen accepts your custom domain and gives you the exact DNS records to add at your registrar. Once the records resolve, Growthzi provisions a Let's Encrypt certificate automatically and switches the canonical URL for your site. Search engine metadata and sitemap URLs update to the new domain without any manual find-and-replace.
Step by step
- Open Settings then Domains inside your website dashboard
- Enter the domain you want to connect and click Verify
- Copy the A and CNAME records shown to you
- Paste those records into your registrar's DNS panel
- Wait for DNS to propagate, typically 15 minutes to an hour
- Return to the Domains screen and click Enable SSL
- Load the domain in an incognito tab to confirm the site opens
