Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: 25th Sep, 2026

This page explains how to delete the data Growthzi holds about you, including anything we received from Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X or Google when you connected one of those accounts.

You can do it yourself in seconds, and you do not need to contact us first. All three options below are real and all three work today.

1. What We Store

When you connect a social or advertising account to Growthzi, we store:

  • The access token and refresh token for that account, encrypted at rest.
  • The account identifiers and public profile fields the platform returns, such as the Page ID, Instagram Business Account ID, channel ID, username, display name and profile picture URL.
  • The posts you created or scheduled through Growthzi, with their captions, media, schedule times and the platform post IDs we got back after publishing.
  • Engagement records for the automation features you switched on, such as the comments we replied to and the replies we sent, so the same comment is never answered twice.
  • Counts and metrics we read back from the platform to show you your analytics.

We do not sell this data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we never use it to train models.

2. Option 1: Disconnect the Account Inside Growthzi

This is the fastest route and it is entirely in your hands.

  1. Sign in at growthzi.com/login.
  2. Open Social Media Manager from the left menu.
  3. Go to Channels.
  4. Find the account you want removed and choose Disconnect, then confirm.

The moment you confirm, we revoke and delete that account's tokens, delete its profile fields, delete its scheduled posts that have not gone out yet, and delete its stored comment and reply records. Posts already published on the platform stay on the platform, because they belong to your account there and only you can remove them.

3. Option 2: Remove Growthzi From Facebook or Instagram

You can also cut us off from Meta's side, without signing in to Growthzi at all.

  1. Open Facebook Settings, Business Integrations.
  2. Find Growthzi in the list.
  3. Choose Remove, and tick the box to delete the posts and activity Growthzi created.

Our access is cut off the moment you do this, and the tokens we hold stop working. Removing the integration on Facebook does not by itself tell us to erase what we already stored, so to have that deleted as well, use Option 1 or Option 3. Either one removes it within 30 days.

4. Option 3: Email Us

If you cannot sign in, or you want a written confirmation, write to support@growthzi.com from the email address on your Growthzi account with the subject Delete my data.

Tell us whether you want one connected account removed or your entire account deleted. We verify that the request came from the account owner, act on it within 30 days, and reply to confirm what was deleted.

5. Deleting Your Whole Growthzi Account

Deleting your account removes everything above, and also your profile, your websites and their published pages, your uploaded media, your billing history beyond what tax law requires us to keep, and every connected account in one go.

Account deletion is handled by a person so that nothing is erased by an accidental click. Email support@growthzi.com from your account address with the subject Delete my account, and we will verify the request and confirm once it is done. This cannot be undone, and any websites you published through Growthzi go offline.

6. Timelines and Backups

  • Tokens are revoked and stop working immediately.
  • Live records are deleted within 30 days of your request.
  • Encrypted backups roll over on a 35 day cycle, so a copy can persist in a backup for up to 35 more days before it is overwritten. We do not restore deleted data from those backups.
  • We keep only what the law requires us to keep, such as invoices for tax records, and nothing from your connected social accounts falls into that category.
