Editor supports variants per section. Swap the default hero for a video-bg, or pick a photo-mosaic testimonial row without touching code.
What you'll build
A live section on your Growthzi site running a variant the AI did not pick by default. You end up with a hero that autoplays a video, a testimonial row shaped as a photo mosaic, or a features grid that alternates left and right instead of a straight three-column. Everything still uses your brand colors, spacing, and typography tokens, so the new variant reads as part of the site, not as a bolt-on.
How Growthzi does it
Every section family in the Growthzi library ships with a variantId list. The Switch Style picker in the section toolbar reads that list, shows a thumbnail per variant, and swaps the render on click without touching the underlying data. The editor persists your choice to the site record, so the next publish and every future regeneration keep the variant you picked.
Step by step
- Open the AI Business Website Builder in the editor
- Hover the section you want to restyle and click Switch Style
- Scroll the variant tray at the bottom and preview each thumbnail
- Click the variant you want, the section rerenders inline
- Adjust any variant-specific fields the picker surfaces (video URL, image count)
- Click Publish to lock the variant into your live site
